"Orangebeard Pirates off the port bow!" the call came in.
"Get down!" Haruta yelled as she sprang into action to slice an incoming cannonball. Vista cut a few himself, and Jozu just punched the rest with his diamond devil fruit.
"I'll handle this," Marco told the crew even as he switched into his phoenix form to fly over.
Chun-Li jumped up and grabbed onto his legs, "You mean with help, you will," she asserted with a small determined growl.
He didn't shake her off, so she took that as a yes and they flew over to the enemy ship to break a few pirate asses. The minute they were over the deck, Chun-Li jumped down to kick a pirate in the chest, which gave Marco time to switch over to a hybrid form and kick an enemy devil fruit user with haki. They weren't anything compared to the admirals, so far as he was concerned. "Have I ever suggested you should be a commander yourself?" Marco asked as he and Chun-Li fell into fighting back to back, the older pirate taking extra care not to kill anymore than absolutely necessary, just for Chun-Li's sake.
"A couple of times," she flashed him a quick grin, "So promote me already."
He laughed and kneed a foe in the stomach, "Such cockyness, I wonder where you could have learned that from, eh."
"Oh yes, I wonder," she quipped back a little sarcastically and tore an enemy's hamstring with her spiked bracelets as she ducked low to dodge the foe's lunging attack, "Nothing like a certain phoenix at all."
"Aye, it must be Haruta's bad influence. Maybe we should promote you just so you can get out from under that," he smirked, slowing down the fighting as fewer and fewer pirates were willing to attack.
Finally the ship reached the Moby Dick and the others climbed aboard.
"What, didn't leave anything for the rest of us?" Jozu arched an eyebrow at the nearly decimated ship's crew.
Marco and Chun-Li shared a look together. "Next time be faster!" they answered in unison.
