A little late but better than never

I <3 Kyle :) A little random I suppose but I hadn't gotten to talk him for days and it drove me crazy. Stupid freaked out sleep.

So I'm now at going to bed at noon and getting up at midnight.... SO opposite what it should be. And it makes it REALLY hard to have a decent social life since people are generally asleep during said hours.

On the upside it gave me plenty of time for One Piece and Icewind Dale 2 and I even got to read some more WoT when my migraines weren't ridiculously feirce. I <3 my BG games too. Sooooo good. Too addicting. I usually have to really focus not to go crazy with it otherwise I can suddenly lose a good 15 hours of my life without even realizing. It's like all the best things about D&D with none of the lag/un-funness.

I'm slightly on the scatter-brained side right now... so yeah. Focus is a difficulty right now. I had a bunch of things to say but it's like I can't remember ANY of them... Go figure.

So to make it easier... a list of things happening in my life:
a) Sleep is messed up
b) Doctor's appointments -- Oh! Which reminds me... I FINALLY made it to acupuncture again (my next one is the Wednesday of school vacation) and it turns out they're moving to Waltham which makes things actually a lot easier. I also saw a neurologist *warm fuzzies* which reminds me I need to call my Grandmother to tell her how well it went. The one before that was so horrible I was crying when I got out. Stupid Spaulding >:O! Anyways, this one's good, official hospital of the Red Sox (Beth Israel) and medical training and all that, but they do the botox-ness, and they're trying me on 3 new things to lay the groundwork for the Botox :) Life is happy
c) Icewind Dale 2 -- almost too much of it and yet not enough at the same time. I seriously love this game even more than the original Baldur's Gate which used to be my all time favorite. And I'm only on like Chapter 4 (of I think 12?) and that's been MONTHS of playing... well actually a year... But I mean I stopped for ages for some reason I don't remember. I think so I could get better at Civ 3 to have something to share with my Dad.
d) One Piece. Oh man. If you think my IWD2 addiction is bad it's got NOTHING on One Piece. I spend weeks just trying to get my laptop to download the episodes/movies/etc. and then watch huge chunks of it hours at a time. Meanwhile, my manga is a must-get-the-day-it-comes-out priority and then meanwhile I've been keeping an eye on the One Piece Yaoi lj community. I'll probably join them as soon as I set my mind up to writing one of my own... A day many the world over fear (as they should.)
e) Brattle Anime Festival: It's in Cambridge on the 25th of February (2 weeks away hoohah!) Turns out Kyle can come after all *mad excited* but I haven't been on at the same time as Sarah to re-poke her about it heh (Sarah if you're reading that's your hint :P *poke poke*) But I STILL haven't even started my Fujiko machine gun and holster yet... woops. *thinks* I've decided to modify a squirt gun with duct tape and junk... I just haven't started yet... At some point I'll really have to kick myself into action on it. Oh and since I didn't actually SAY so yet; I'm going as Fujiko Mine in Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro (ala army fatigues) my hair's too short (and currently too dark but I gave up on the lightening idea... too lazy :P) my boots are black instead of brown (oh well) and the fatigues I have (my Dad's) have too much brown in them but it's all good ;) 18 hours of Anime on Big-Screen and spending it with some of my favorite people in the world *squee*
f) I STILL haven't finished my review (kuso...) for the IGN job, but there's yet another of the same (reviewing anime and whatnot) also open (but paying a lot less but hey, still good) so now I get to write another review and application :D But I'm mad thrilled about the whole thing, even if I don't get it because it's fun to think about. A job... I could actually do and LOVE even while I'm this patehtically ill. It's pretty sweet. Now if I could just focus enough to write it o_O
g) So I bought Kyle's Valentines present (yeah, yeah... everyone go "Awwww!") the other week but it STILL hasn't come in... meep. I'm starting to get a bit worried that I'll even get it in time to send it to him. Oh well, hopefully he'll understand if it's late *sigh* And this is the disadvantage with buying things overseas. But that reminds me I need to transfer funds from my bank account to my debit card. And then figure out whether to get that Kyo bag or just hold on and save for convention-ness *does a quick check of month's expenses and junk.* I have the money with some left over but still . . . to buy or not to buy... Plus come next month I still have half of Patrick's B-Day present to get, and I haven't made up my mind about getting Pokemon Trozei or not. I love Pokemon games (ridiculous amounts) and it's a DS game *purr* Plus I'd actually get to play it online... Which is sweet. And plus I love puzzle games :D This would be a lot easier to decide if I knew when Diamond and Pearl were coming out though. I think I WILL get the messenger bag after all though, I get extra money this month for keeping Pat off the computer except for homework and so that's also good.

And I think that about covers things. So I'm done for now and off to play some IWD 2 before people wake back up and things get crazy fun ^_^ -- oh I forgot to mention, Pat's having a sleepover/party this weekend but it starts ridiculously early at 11. Should be interesting though with all the anime watching and gaming and etc. Plus Nor' Easter supposed to hit Saturday night/Sunday could also make things fun :D I still can't believe how unseasonably warm this winter's been o_O especially since they kept claiming it would be one of the worst in over a decade >_
