I rule

So I am like the Goddess of finding things out on the internet. Seriously, if there is something I want to know, I WILL find it. For instance for a while now it's been bugging me that Ranma 1/2 books have this weird little jump in them in the bookstores, they get through the early teens and then suddenly jump to the 20s... And so I set out to find the books in between online and failing that I was set to find out why. And I rule. Turns out unless you buy the first editions (taller, thinner and 50% more expensive) there's this actual jump in the production. Or so it would seem.

What actually happens is that halfway through the FIRST edition publishings they decided to change their look to the 2nd edition style. So you can currently buy Volume 28 at the 2nd edition style and price but not 15 because it's still old-school format until it comes out in the actual 2nd edition. And it gets weirder, believe it or not -- all of the anime (tv versions) have been out for the past 5 years no problem but the first edition BOOKS are still coming out. Sure, this probably won't make sense to ANY of you but more importantly I found out WHEN Book 15 and 16 are coming out :D And I am happy. Especially since now I can cool my jets which is good because at the moment I have $2 in my wallet and it's mostly in change.

 In any case, #15 comes out February 8th, and #16 comes out the 15th and just to get weirder, #29 (first edition but in 2nd edition style) comes out the 22nd.  And now I have justs accidentally clicked some button that has everything ALL screwed up and I haven't the foggiest idea how to fix it but since it just looks weird but actually seems all right I'm going to continue like nothing happened.

Interestingly, Viz Productions (all hail the Mighty Viz) is also in charge of Pokemon.  For some reason I had no clue. I mean, I knew of course that they're in charge of Inuyasha and such but Pokemon... For some reason I always thought it was a different company. *shrug* Well all hail the mighty Viz ;)

Okay this is driving me cookoo... It's 2:30 in the morning but somewhere along my street or in the general area are a bunch of beeping trucks.  The beeping just will not stop! And while I am FULLY used to this in the daytime due to the construction (which by the way came along rather nicely) at 2:30 it just seems SOOOOOOOOOO out of place. And you know what?  I can swear they've got heavy machinery for digging. And really, I'm just plain doubting my own sanity because who the heck digs up a street at 2:30 am (and mind you there are at LEAST 4 trucks and probably more) in JANUARY with 2 feet of snow on the ground???? And I thought it might be plows... but everything's been plowed. And I realize that sure, roads are less crowded at 2:45 in the morning but really... what the heck?

And to go back to my material madness: Miroku plush doll.  I want one.... O:-) They're so cute! Not at all soft in any way but cute.  And look what their little caption is: "Miroku the plush doll can get close to any girl he wants, without having to worry about getting slapped! " *giggle*

On another note, seriously cannot wait for American Dad (new Seth McFarlane -- creator of Family Guy series) and also new episodes of Family Guy in like... May.

Oh! So I just figured out what I'm getting Laura for her Birthday!! Inuyasha and Ranma 1/2 Playing cards! She'll love them!!! :-D And it might get her to join in on the 4th of July..... Ohhhh so excited she is seriously going to LOVE them. mwahahahaha

Soooooooo sick

Gah... So last night after I logged off I went to bed but didn't end up sleeping for another 2 hours because I was REALLY REALLY sick. Blech. Also... I've spent most of the day either in "meditation" or sleeping but now I've taken my second dose of Ultracet and despite being incredibly nauseous and sick, at least I'm lying down and the alternative is ridiculously bored. Also playing games right now is a lot harder than you'd think so quizzes it is!
