Smoker Fanfic
Feb. 13th, 2006 12:38 pmSo I realized something. One of the biggest problems I have with writing on the computer is in fact the Word doc. itself. It's too bright and the glare kills me. Intriguingly though, the off-whiteness of an LJ is ok. Will this fix it enough that writing is possible? Only time and much attmepting will tell.
Something I should note before I start this. Don't read it. Seriously. Do yourself a favor. I'm writing it because my muse is an abusive bitch. Sure I love her but seriously. She's evil. I spent 30 hours in bed yesterday and ALL of it was in dreams about Smoker... wtf? Ahhhhhhhh crazy. It was one of those semi-frequent "story dreams" that are continuous over several nights but this one was actually all related to the Zoro one. It was however, extremely random because while the Zoro dream had a bit of Smoker before, anything involving Smoker in the dream(s) still was about Zoro. This was mostly OODLES of INSANE amounts of backhistory of the main character (who believe it or not doesn't even have a name yet o_O I need to go do that) and 100% Smoker-ness. And mostly me bugging the hell out of Smoker. I enjoyed it immensely for all it's oh-so-wrong insanity.
So I wouldn't normally be writing this but after telling bits and pieces to Pat he felt it was too funny and sexcellent (okay not really... if he knew about THOSE pieces he'd be traumatized for life *chuckles evilly* :D ) to NOT be written out. This is probably mostly due to because I mentioned me/main character whoeverness had a twin brother who's a bard (he was instantly pleased) who was a lot like him (more happiness on his part.) It's quite funny actually, even as I was telling him about the twin in tiny pieces he'd say Oh! Does he do this? Is he like that? And the answers were omg yes o_O Why are you in my dreams! Get out of my head before you reach the yaoi you poor poor boy! Save yourself! The other reason I'm writing this too is like I said... because my muse is an abusive bitch. She could use some appeasement or else I will find her leaving me stuck in bed for another 30 hours of insanity where I think my brain is beginning to rot and yet still, enjoying quite a bit of it.
However it really probably shouldn't be read. I'm normally partial to Smoker/Ace or Smoker/Tashigi but Tashigi doesn't fit for this story because well to be honest, I just don't like her enough, she's not cool enough in any way shape or form, said main character beats the crap out of her in sword sparring *evil grin* and there's FAR too much side-story junkiness/convoluted plot-bunny insanity for it TO be her. Thus... this leaves with the horrible evil Mary-Sue-ness. I hate Mary Sues like ALL good writers should and I would like to defend main character and say quite fervently, no. Not a Mary-Sue... not at all. But to be honest... she is definitely going to come off that way and I might just be deluding myself into thinking she's not. Do I still like her? Oh yes. And am I going to write her? You bet. Is this going to be a horrible story that NO ONE in their right mind should read -- except Pat and even then only parts? YES. So really. Don't read it unless you like torturously bad fanfics... Oh and yes, I give you EVERY right to mock me. This is a one time offer as I'm usually extremely proud of even my horrible writings but seriously... this is the kind of thing I will enjoy... Pat and Hack will like parts of and anyone else will be traumatized for life. Save yourself.
And I am cutting it (if only because like I said, it's bad and no one should read it) because Leanne doesn't do anime and this all One Piece. Yay for Pirates/Marines.
