I'm so crazy
Jul. 24th, 2008 12:04 amI miss Faye-Faye. This is an entry for him to catch up on everything that I can think of off the top of my head including a lot of bat-shit crazy stuff I'm sure he doesn't care about.
1. Why would I have a pregnancy scare???
I am, of course, still a virgin. Luckily for me, Kyle respects my decision and supports me in it which means the world to me. That said however, no semen has ever been anywhere near stuff down there so clearly I'm just insane to think I COULD be pregnant. Plus, doctors said I'd GET my periods late since my body is faking the pregnancy thing in order to get rid of the CFIDS. But I'm Catholic and mentally unstable so I thought it was possible (though completely 100% unplausible... don't even ASK how THAT works) that maybe God decided I should be pregnant to get over the CFIDS thinking it'd be better and hey haven't I been praying to get over the CFIDS??? Of course though I DID say in aforementioned prayers pregnancy is NOT better.
Whatever, last night I remembered that I HAVE been ovulating (the flip side of the period) and you don't do that when pregnant either (I checked.)
And I finally got my period 3 weeks late. Which isn't exactly a record or anything, except for me. I mean my periods have a 32 day stretch between them which is quite a bit longer than many girls/women (many only get 20 days in between.... yikes) so going like 55 days is kind of unnerving to the max.
2. A random wtf videogame note.
I'm guilty of still not playing Oblivion. This is because I'm waiting for Kyle to go home in case I like it a lot and wind up not paying him enough attention. Yet ironically I'm being far TOO clingy and thoroughly annoyed that he, Pat, and Brian keep playing Brawl and Halo without me (my fault??? not theirs... auras means I can't play even though I want to. hahaha it's fun trying to watch, I can't really see it whatsoever. It's f-ed up.) so as it is I've been playing lots of DS and Pogo.
I really love pogo. I forget that occasionally (just like every other game/book/movie/anime/tv series etc.) Badges are my friend. So much so I did the unthinkable and bought Tri-Peaks Solitaire 2 (download for computer) and it's mad fun. But for some reason I'm practically power gaming and "leveling" up all these random games I kept meaning to get around to and never did.
I blame the lack of good mturk assignments.
That and food allergies starting to die down is SWEET. I'm no longer spending $150 on food a month, it's down to like $90. I know that still seems big but for an entire month that is SWEET. And frees up like $60 for games/manga/cds. Actually the last two months I was doing so well it was more like I spent only $50 on food and had $100 for games and crap :D :D :D :D Seriously, rules.
2 1/2: Money/video games/stuff continued
Annnnd I get to spend that taxbreak silliness ($300 woot!) whichever way I want. $20 gone to my wetsuit though. Not sure why I had to pay for it -_- but whatever. Surfing ftw!!!! Plus I can maybe wear it bikini topless.... it's REALLY REALLY hot though. Which is GREAT for Maine, especially if we move there (ZOMFG! I CAN SWIM EVEN IN OCTOBER WITH IT EEEEEEEEEEEEE) but I'll be in the water the whole time since it'll be hot. Really hot. Also it shows off that I have a tummy instead of a sixpack. Which makes me sad. Supposedly this is a good thing but it makes me nuerotically want to do a million sit-ups which is a very very very bad idea right now. Still gotta take it kinda easy but I can't wait for the CFIDS to go away like the fibromyalgia did :D And having no arm/leg pain is the awesomest thing ever. Sure migraines are still 10s a LOT but I hit that good "summer health" patch and that's pretty freaking sweet.
Anyways, $42 of it went to Pokemon cards and a Great Big Sea cd. ($30 for cards) This makes it the 3rd Great Big Sea cd I bought... making them ousting Duncan Sheik on my favorite music list. Yay :D They have an Irishy/R.E.M/Bostonian/Newfoundlander sound I love. Bonus: my Mom likes them too. Still REALLY wishing Meatloaf had more stuff out and needing to buy that last cd. And lots more Akeboshi. But since I have to buy those online I haven't gotten around to it.
I AM debating a) buying another Pogo download game (if I do it NOW it's 50% off so only $10!!! for a LOT of good gameplay time. I should do it. I will. It's just a tie between Mahjong Garden Deluxe and/or Word Riot Deluxe. b) Mario Party download for the Wii. Which relies on 1) whether or not I can borrow the credit card, and 2) how much it'll cost.
Apparently the asshole brothers of mine lost/broke 2 controllers so we only have 2. Which sucks SO much, not the least of which is I BOUGHT and PAID for one grrrrrrrrrr. And c) buying a bunch of DS games online for myself.
DS games I want:
Mario Party for DS
Puzzle Quest: Challenge of Warlords (even if I suck I don't think I'll regret the attempts to recapture Etherian magic, I played Warlords 1 and 2 SO MUCH when I had that very first computer. It'd be like if Moosey found a random out of nowhere Cosmo remake) -- and the graphics are just so fucking PREEETTTTY!!!! http://chill.comcast.net/screenshot.aspx?code=114737607&src=/images/games/puzzle_quest/puzzle_quest1.jpg -- look at the horsey!!! and mountains! And Castle!!!! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Phoenix Wright 2 -- I finished 3 (my bad) and it so fucking good V_V!!! I cried with mixed sadness and happyness at the end.... Seriously. Good stuff. I should really get the middle though so that Moosey will play it.
Apollo Justice (aka Phoenix Wright 4) -- Not that it's out in the U.S. yet.... or will be for a while... Plus it doesn't have Phoenix anymore but his replacement is hilarious, his magician(?) assisstant is adorable and the games just kept getting better so I've got high hopes. Ema makes a comeback though *giant sweatdrop* I hope they keep Gumshoe or I'll be sad. That guy is awesome.
Fire Emblem -- supposedly I'll love it. It does look good.
Pogo Island -- dude, am I EVER going to get around to it?
Anyways I think that about covers it for game buying for myself with the idea that others will play it too. Maybe that's why I haven't bought Pogo Island, I'm like the only one that would play it.
3. BUT I also have to buy presents for people. Another list:
a) Dad's present. This could be a combo Detective Conan manga + keychain (the keychain I already bought him) OR D&D Version 4.0 book(s). But the latter can get MAD expensive. I guess if Moosey/Brian/Laura bought him another and Mom bought him another it would work out well.... but they're all kind of broke/cheap like that.
b) Faye's Present. I actually have money set aside for this and should do it very soon so that it gets there within reasonable time...
c) Christmas presents. Yeah, yeah, I KNOW it's early but I like to buy things in advance and if come Christmas time I'm kind of broke again thanks to CFIDS forcing me to order out a lot bad things happen. But I forget what I had in mind for everyone and it's too early to realistically ask so I'd have to just set the money aside and I'd feel kind of silly for it... *sigh*
d) Kyle's B-Day Present. That's in October so slighly less crazy to do now. Sort of, mostly, I think.
