It's snowing! It's snowing! Tra la la it's snowing!
I haven't decided if I like it or not yet. I think I'm too cranky to really enjoy anything. *sigh* So my medicines are completely messed up. I was supposed to see my doctor about changing my meds by then it turns out my insurance plan doesn't cover that line so I have to get a different kind and so now EVERYTHING is incredibly messed up and it's almost like I have no serotonin in my system. Which is not cool as a lack of serotonin causes insomnia, binge eating (because you always feel hungry) depression, muscle soreness and well basically general chronic fatigue with the added ever-hungry feeling.
I missed Oklahoma this weekend. I'd originally been planning to go on Sunday but my headaches have been really bad since Thursday because of the medicine mess-ups. I did end up playing Civilization (big advanced, complicated board game) with family but I think that didn't help because my Dad and my sister kept leaving at different points so I ended up playing the parts of 3 people including my own. (Tre complicated.) But other than that my life has been fairly boring as usual. And neither of my parents have finished my book yet. Which is sad because it means that it's not the kind of book you can't put down. But they do seem to think it's funny at least. Of course, who knows what that really means as it's my parent's sense of humor...
So the latest on George Bush and the environment.... He's recently decided to attempt to allow the importation of (currently illegal) endangered animal parts -- such as Siberian Tiger Pelts (worth $30,000 on the black market), baby komodo dragons ($25,000), elephant tusks, and even orangutans' feet (often used in ceremonial rituals by certain immigrant cultures.) I'm not even going to bother ranting about how incredibly immoral this is (there are currently 200 Siberian tigers left in the wild and NOW George Bush actually wants to make it legal to import endangered animals' parts...) But what I will say is this. To eleminate an entire species of animals is like setting a library of rare books found nowhere else in the world, on fire. Both of which would make me scream in anguish... There are already 15 species of tigers extinct in the world (14 if the rumors about there still be Tazmanian tigers still alive are true) with only 7 left to go. And it makes me sick that he doesn't even care...
In any case I'm out for now. I still have to finish outlining my play.... amongst other things.
